Annoying beeping tone at full volume over Bluetooth headphones

Hello guys,

So I just had a pair of Bluetooth earbuds on my Pixel 2 XL, and I'm running Android 9 stable version. However I noticed that anytime I adjust the volume to the maximum, it keeps making a very annoying beeping tone. Is there any ways to disable this sound by any chance?

Did they do that before? Most headphones I use have done some sort of beeping to let you know that you've reached max or min volume level and can't go any further if you keep pushing the volume buttons.

They actually did that before, but now it's even worse because when you're pressing the volume to the max it won't stop beeping, and whatever you have in the back streaming is still playing. Before it used to only make 2 beeps, which was still kind of bearable.

Weird. Does it do that if you connect it to another phone? If it happens when you control volume from the phone it sounds like it's getting 'stuck' trying to up the volume more and more. If it happens from the headphones buttons, I don't see how the phone connection would affect that...
