Annoying camera shutter sound!

Is there a way to disable / mute Camera Shutter sound in Samsung Note 5 camera app?

Yeah open the camera, click the tool sprocket and then scroll down and turn off shutter sound .

Not all countries and models allow it my 920L came without the option. I live in South Korea and every phone has the camera shutter sound and cannot be disabled. Even iphones.

You can try to Google "enforced stream silencer". It might work. My note 5 has the setting, so I can't really test it. Obviously only disable it where it is legal.

I think it comes down to different countries and laws that require it. The camera sound gives people a heads up someone took a pic, sometimes people shouldn't be taking pics where they are.

Just connect the headphones if you don't want anyone to hear you taking their photo. lol

Turn the sound to mute on the phone and you can take pics at the gym with no camera shutter sounds

I use a app called "silent cam switch" . It allows you to use the stock camera app and it automatically switches your phone to silent when you activate the camera. The only issue I have is most of the time after you close the camera app it's supposed to turn your volume back to where you had it, but it never does so I have to manually turn my volume back up.

I guess putting fone or vibrate or mute is the best solution so far before taking pictures from stock camera app.

Russel there is no shutter sound after touching sproket are u sure u have a note 5

Sprocket has the option for me.
