Annoying gesture reminder? How to lose it?

On my unlocked AT&T HTC One M8 I purchased there's a pop up that shows every time I use a screen gesture reminding I swiped up, down, sided to side, etc. (little hand swiping)
How do i stop this annoyance?

In the pop up, isn't there an option like (don't show this again)?! I am asking because I never got that pop up on my M8

Go to settings/about/help and check to see if the "show quick tips" box is checked. If it is then uncheck it and see if that helps.
