Few days ago some new auto suggestion popped up on my phone. I did not install anything new on my phone. It does t matter what app im using i still have the same pop up window come up when i type something wrong. And the suggestion is wrong %90 of the times. Its a popup window that blocks everything and the only way to close the completely wrong suggestions if i press the back button. I have the regular suggestions on top of my keyboard which is always giving me the correct choice. But this other one is super annoying. That pops up giving me wrong suggestions and completely blocking the correct suggestion that's on top of my qwerty keyboard. I have an lgv40

Whatever the phone comes with. Never changed it. And out of nowhere this crap comes up all the time. Turning off suggestion will only turn off the one thats top of my keyboard. The pop up one still comes up
Have you tried a different keyboard app? I've used both Gboard and SwiftKey when I had an LG V20. I only used the default LG keyboard long enough to download other keyboards from Play Store.

I just tried it with a different keyboard. It does the same thing! I have word suggestion right above my keyboard and the pop up one comes in that blocks the view from the keyboard and the suggestion.

I'll see if @Mooncatt will be able to help, since he's an LG expert, and I'm out of ideas here.

I'll look into it and see if I can figure anything out (I'm experienced, but wouldn't call myself an expert), but I'm on the V20 and use the Swype keyboard and haven't seen this on my phone either. I do seem to recall another thread with a similar problem, but it's been so long ago that I don't remember what, or if a solution was found.

The two most common solutions I found don't seem to apply to me, so try these and let us know if it works.

Check your phone's language and input settings have a spell checker option. This guide shows how.

https://www.howtogeek.com/327869/how-to-enable-or-disable-the-spell-checker-on-android/

A lot of others online say Gboard has this feature as well and suggest disabling/uninstalling it stops the spell check. I didn't see any mention of a Gboard setting to disable this one feature, but wouldn't hurt to look first.

For whatever reason, my version of Oreo doesn't have a spell check option, and I don't have Gboard installed. Otherwise I would've tested those suggestions myself.

It's gone! I have uninstalled Gboard. Well.. More like uninstalled the last update. You can not delete the app itself but that popup window is gone. The only thing is bothering me that misspelled words are not underlined with red no more. Thanks the help guys
