Who's feeling like upgrading to the 10 series?

Me. Probably.
I'll be honest though, the main thing putting me off is the weight gain due to qi2 magnets. The one thing Google got right is a smaller "pro" with fantastic ergonomics both in hand and in pocket. Making it heavier for a niche application is a shame. Why couldn't they ditch the pointless temperature sensor to compensate?

It will do until the S26 / Xiaomi 16 come out I guess.

( Never thought I would be a smaller phone lover .....but I guess we all change )

There is a Pixel 10 Pro XL with my name on it somewhere out there...

I only recently upgraded to the 9 Pro XL, so I'll probably hold onto this for another 1-2 years, maybe even longer if there aren't any amazing trade-in deals for the next few generations.

It's not a bad idea going to the pro smaller version, I like the idea of the update with the magnets though and I think it's excellent especially for some people that like to just carry their phone without a case and have it magsafe ready. I don't think the weight increase will be crazy to bother anybody imo

I've been contemplating trading in my 9 Pro XL and going with the 10 Pro as I think I'd like to downsize a bit ... But we'll see what the trade in values look like.
Aye. I would have considered the base model ( a first in nearly 20 years of smart phone addiction ) if it was lighter than the pro.

As someone who loves my OnePlus Pad3 for media stuff, I just don't have a need to lug a bigger phone about. And it being ergonomic as an actual phone is important.
My broken hands are not getting any better as I get older. Jeez , I can't be that old.

Yeah, I still have my Pixel 3 and every once in a while I'll hold it and think to myself something just a touch bigger would be the perfect size ... Looks like the Pro size would be exactly what I'm looking for.

Based on the information I've read about the Pixel 10 models, I don't feel any incentive to part with my Pixel 9 Pro XL. As a practical matter, based on the way I use my phone, there appear to be no new features or functions offered by the Pixel 10 that would justify making the change, much less paying for the "upgrade."

I get a new one every year. Although not that I really ever notice much of a difference. In general it seems if I didn't know I got a new phone I wouldn't know I got a new phone. Same with the successive versions of the Android OS. I noticed zero change when I got 16

All depends on the trade-in for me also. I'm getting off the new phone every year train, and looking to downsize the model (currently P9Pro). Want to get a phone that I'll keep for a few years. I just don't use many of the features in the pro model, so seriously considering the "a" series.

Faster charging, brighter screen, better fingerprint censor all make it a "upgrade" IMO Again never expect groind breaking changes in a yearly upgrade cycle. Regardles of the manufacturer.

I used to get a new phone almost every year since the Nexus 6.I skipped the Pixel 4 and 7. I'm going to skip the 10 as well. I don't see anything compelling from the leaks that would enhance my daily use of the 9 pro XL. Oh, and I recently retired, so all expenses have to have a 2nd look.

I’ve been eyeing the smaller 10 pro. Coming from iOS. Maybe having a smaller phone would cause me to use my phone less. I also have an android tablet for watching content and playing games so I don’t need a big phone as much anymore.

It depends on the trade-in deals for me. I have a 9 Pro XL so definitely don't need to, but if they have a particularly aggressive trade-in deals that makes it very affordable, I might consider it.

I was looking forward to it, but a new leak is hinting at esim. I'm not sure how that'll work with me about to switch carriers, and going back and forth between the P10P and S25U. Just a matter of a little research I guess.
