Another battery thread

My "battery drain problem" differs depending on where I'm at. (I keep Wifi on and Location off.)
If I'm at home and connected to my home Wifi, my main battery problem is cell standby (Google Play Services does not even show up on the battery screen). If I'm at work and connected to the Wifi there, my main battery drain problem is Google Play Services (Cell standby does not show up at all on the battery screen)?!

I've looked into the 2.4gHz vs. 5gHz setting on my home Wifi but I can't figure out what I have. I've googled and went into the gateway/router settings but I can't find it. I have ATT uverse and use an Arris NVG510 modem/router.

I have 2 networks in my house, a 5gHz and a 2.4gHz - I recently started to notice cell standby time when on 5gHz. Since disabling that network on the phone I haven't noticed any further issues.

On a different but related note, my colleague has an S5 and was perfectly happy with it previously. Today, she came into the office furious because she updated to Lollipop this weekend and her battery is getting crushed now. Definitely a few bugs and definitely not hardware.

Cell Standby was draining my battery so I wiped the cache and fully reset my phone hoping it would help. I get much better battery life now, only about 5% drain overnight. However, if I'm on wifi I still get most of my battery drained by cell standby. I still have a few days before my 14 are up. Should I get a new S6 or keep what I have and hope for a fix? I mostly use Spotify, twitter, chrome, youtube.

If your the same person who has about 2.5 hours of SoT with such use (as seen on another thread), then you are doing quite well and I wouldn't be paranoid about battery life.

Just think, with such little SoT Andrew from AC only gets no more than 12 hours of standby.
