Another dumb question from noobville...RE: magazines removal, etc.

I'm wondering, is there a way to remove all those dumb magazines and books etc. preloaded on the N7? They just clutter up the home page, can't see my wallpaper. I'd like just the manual on there or something if possible. I haven't downloaded any of them.

Press and hold on the 'My Library' picture and at the top of the screen "X Remove" will appear, press that et Viola! that part has been banished to the Widgets page (I think - I put mine on my 3rd homepage for the time being). Do the same with 'Recommended on Play' and your page should be more to your liking.

Thanks for that tip! All I have to do now (before I go do that) is learn the difference between a "widget" and an "app" and fingure out where that "widget" page is. Will it get rid of everything though? I don't mind keeping the manual up there since I will be refering to it everyday for the next year until I learn this crazy device.

When you press the center icon at the bottom of the screen and it takes you to the page with all your apps - at the top it also says Widgets - press and enter another world. The best I can do to describe a widget is to call it an active icon - it will show you info or do something. You might move the clock to your home page and play with it for a minute to get the idea.

BTW - I have my homepage pretty well filled with my favorite apps grouped as I like - I find it easier to get to them that way.

Thank you! "Enter another world"? You mean there's more or multiple worlds in tablet / android world? Goodness, I'm still spinning from the entry of the current android tablet world I'm in at just the basics! My head might explode!
