Well after having the iphone for practically 3 years, I wanted to use the nexus one for a couple of days before posting about what I miss.
It took a while to get used to the UI coming from the iphone, but now that I have I love it. It is so customizable and the notification bar is awesome, much better than the iphone. That said the iphone is so damn easy to use and push notifications were better on the iphone imho.
The screen and speed of the the N1 is amazing some of the live wallpapers just look stunning, and I was worried about using the N1 outside, but that was overblown I feel. The iphone will more than likely catch up here with the 4g hardware, if not they will be way behind. No contest here.
The one thing I miss the most at this point, and it may be hard to understand for some, is the overall crispness of the iphone, it just seems more responsive and sharp overall. I think in has to do with the touch screen, and it may be due more to me being used to the iphone. The iphone just registers my touches the first time everytime, whether I am in a web page or an app it just nails it. The N1 sometimes is a little above or below on the screen, not bad but enough to notice.
All in all I am sticking with the N1 the customizing ability, screen resolution, feel and look are just awesome. Yea I have a few niggles and I miss some of my apps, but I know those will go away as the platform gets more polished with each update.
