Another newbie question: Will the US version of Nexus 5 work in Europe?

Believe it will but I think it's missing some LTE bands.

Yup, on t-mo UK, with my US N5. works like a champ, just can't use LTE as the bands used in Europe are different than the ones in the US. BIG price difference for the same phone!
