Another newbie question

Im not sure if there's a fix for this but here goes. Can the bottom buttons (home,back,etc) be set to stay lit? I find it a real pita at night to have these go out. Ideally I'd like it if, as long as the screen is on these would be also. Thanks for any idea's.

No, not possible. It's on the fix list for Samsung and they "supposedly" are working on it for the next update.

If you just started using the phone, it will be a pita for a while. But after a week or so you won't even be looking at those buttons when you need to select one. Your thumb will automatically know where it needs to go.

Similar question. The search button at the bottom; can it be disabled? If I'm holding the phone in my right hand portrait style, and use my thumb to hit something in the upper corner, there is a chance the "meaty" part of my thumb rolls over and hits the search button and messes things up.

I'm guessing not.
