I'm running EvilEris on my wife's phone now....will this update take me back to the stock 2.1? It's actually what I want, if it does.....

if it doesn't, how do I go back to the stock ROM? Can I do that or is it possible?

I believe that the update is supposed to begin at midnight tonight. Hopefully we'll see some reports tomorrow morning.

I just recieved an email fron verizon saying i will be getting an update to 2.1 with a list of improvements (from 1.5 to 2.1).
Well im on leak v3

I just recieved the same email...which is weird. That is the same look alike when we got 2.1...weird.

I also received the same email. It looks like they just resent the email from the 2.1 update or something. I think I read somewhere that the update starts at 11:59pm eastern time tonight (July 16); so, essentially at midnight tonight.

I feel special. I got two emails being that I've been through 2 Eris' within a couple of days I'm guessing. Oh well, traded for a different device so it's irrelavent now. Good luck with the update guys/gals.

The update doesn't come in the email. The email is essentially a "you're gonna get it in the next 24 hours" type thing. The actual update could take up to a week to roll out, it's completley random as to who gets it.

haven't heard anything, but they're testing all kinds of android crap. BTW, i don't miss CB at all. went back the other day, someone emailed me and wanted my input on a topic. just reminded me why i left that hole in the first place.

as always, when i hear something i share it, but i haven't heard anything specific as of late so no news to share at this time. and i got that email as well, waiting for the alert to download it myself.
