So, as long as they keep giving us the $25 discount off the $40 Line Access Fee, it's a significant savings.
A little over $8 per month savings.

Actually, Verizon just lowered it to 6GB+ about a week ago for the $25 discount.

It is a little concerning how they keep making changes to it.
Wasn't it first no credit off, then $10, then $15, then $25?
They also have been changing the required minimum % paid off from 50%, to 60%, then 75%.
.
I guess I keep wondering what other thing they may switch up.

If they go back to $15 off the Line Access Fee, then that would be $25x24 =$600 + $699 = $1299

And appears there isn't any savings with getting last years model on Edge.
Because with Edge you pay full retail.
But on contract you can often get it for $0..

You need to add $40 upgrade fee to the contract pricing.

What is better will depend on the deal at the time but chances are edge will usually be cheaper

I usually keep a phone for 18 months. I was at month 17 on the droid DNA. I couldn't wait to edge up to the Turbo. My bill dropped a few dollars but was able to bump to the 10gig plan from 4gigs, how great is that? Awesome!!! if you ask me!!!! I couldn't wait to give that phone back to the Rep. It couldn't last 8 hours with moderate use. I also turned in another pos boost phone and got 100 buck gift card. Lol
