answer/lock screen slider.

is there any way to change the answer slider on the inspire? aside from rooting. i keep my phone in my pocket and if i dont decline the call, i'll just put it back. sometimes it "answers" the call with out me knowing.

You can use WidgetLocker.
Not sure if that would help, but it is possible to replace the lock screen without rooting.

It's worth it

I thought for a bit about spending the money. First app I paid for. VERY glad I did, it's only $2, and provides a lot of functionality.

I wouldn't recommend talking about illegally downloading apps.

I have Widgetlocker and I really enjoy it. I have my music phantom player widget, pandora, weather, clock, SMS, and phone widgets on my lock screen.

Why did you sideload it? It's all of $2 and available in the market...

If you press the power/wake button, it won't decline the call but it will sleep the screen so you can slip it back into your pocket without accidentally answering the call.

i tried it, liked it and bought it from the market today. love it. does exactly what i wanted.
