Any 6p owners consider the S6/G5/M10?

I honestly don't see me switching devices anytime soon. For the first time in a long time, I'm very happy with a phone! Camera is good, battery life is good, performance is awesome, and it'll get updated quicker than other devices!

More storage would be nice, but I could always upgrade to the 64GB or 128GB Nexus 6P instead.

The nexus 6p was defenetly the device of the year 2015 and still is the best option on the market, the keyword is still, but as it gets older if you are as unlucky as me to damege it and meet the atrocious service / repairs policy of google and huawei you would stay open minded for a swich.
My latest history was Sgs3 ( great device )--> Sgs4 (small diference between Sgs3 and ditched it after 30 days of use) --> htc m7 ( awesome device best of 2013 in my oppinion) -- > Sgs5 ( it felt like a bigger Sgs3, or a diferent colour Sgs4 diched it after 2 weeks ) -- > LGG3 ( a game chager, I loved that device also phone of the year 2014 in my humblle oppinion). Passed the LGG4 (It did not feelt like a big upgrade from the LGG3) almoust bought the Sgs6 edge +, but changed my mind in the store in the last minute, it's sexy porwerfull, inovative but also wery gimmicky, and decided to wait for the Nexus device ... the 6P as we know it, and it proved a very wise and inspirated decision, the device is fantastic, a dream gadget, a marvel of tech, nothing but love, until... ...I broke it and had to go through the nighmare of service, I had broken phones before but all went relatively well, I would have never forseen it would be sutch a ordeal.
So yeah I am looking forward to see the LGG5 it has to be great after the relatively forgetteble LGG4, and LG are capable of inovation and greatness, I still love my ex LGG3 . the LGG5 defenetly on my radar... also looking forword to the HTC M10, HTC has to deliver if it still wants to stay on the market after the relative consecutive flop of the M8 and the disgrace M9, its all in for them, and a company that has nothing to lose in a last effort to grateness of death has if not my interest my attention. The Sgs7 is just the Sgs6 kid whit the Note 5... inbreeding, never a nice thing

I've had the opposite experience at least with Google's support. Did you go through Huawei, or Google. I've heard Huawei's support is terrible. Google I've has several support experiences with over the years and they've always been very good.

I am definitely interested in them as I am with every company flagship but to switch nope. Still love the fast and latest software updates. Until companies get their act together in updating and supporting their devices I won't switch from Nexus or even iPhone. I just find that unacceptable. Although for a secondary device why not! I'll love to have a another little bugger on camera alone!

Exactly my thoughts. From here on, its either Nexus or iPhone. I am not willing to accept the delays in security patches that the carriers in particular in the US add on top of the manufacturers. I need a phone where the carrier and manufacturer do not delay security updates. I could live with waiting for new versions of the OS a bit. Not so for security updates.

through Huawei, they are only breaking through the western market, and I did not take it personally, but they really need to get their service experience up to date, samsung was always ok, but apple are great ( I own a ipad..as many of you) if there is something to "steal" from apple is their attitude towards customer care and service, they really are pro's at it, maybe because they had so many defective products and learned it through time and experience and customer interaction. Huawei is still breaking the ice....

yeah there's a thread about Huawei's customer service, a lengthy one, and after reading it I won't do business directly with them until they improve. Google has definitely gotten better, and I've always had a pleasant experience with Apple. a lot of people will disagree, but some of the better service over the years has actually been from Verizon. In store, their reps are clueless, but that's too be expected. I actually like playing the clueless average Joe customer when I'm there!

anyway, based on the horror stories, I'm glad I went directly through Google and got Nexus Protect ... More than likely I won't need it, but if I do I'll be grateful. And if I didn't, and actually needed it, I'd really be kicking myself. $89 up front with a deductible less than that (can't remember the exact amount) is a great deal, especially since most shops near me don't repair it, and the ones that do are gonna charge just a little under the cost of the insurance plus deductible anyway. not to mention should I decide to sell it when the 2016 one comes out (highly unlikely) it'll add some value.

I got mine through Amazon, and while I got them to give me more than the $50 discount than Google offered a few weeks later, I also wish I went directly through Google so I could get the Nexus Protect.

Regarding Apple's customer service, it is pretty much the best there is out there, but I've found you have to wait a lot longer to get help these days, and if it's something urgent that requires a visit to one of their stores, depending on the stores in your area, you could easily be waiting for a few days to get an appointment.

A walk in works, but be prepared to wait there for at least 2 hours. I think in their case, you pay for this service with the cost of the iPhone. Personally when I was on Verizon for cell phone it was horrendous csat wise. AT&T has actually improved a lot since I switched to them 10 years ago. I've got Verizon FIOS, and I know its essentially a different company, but their customer support is also terrible.

If they still did GPE then maybe the S7 or M10. I would like a smaller footprint but I doubt it so I'm definitely sticking with 6p, besides I just bought all of these D-BRAND skins for it lol.

I love the 6P too much, sometimes less is more. Just enjoy the simplicity of stock android and timely updates for me to go back to anything else right now.
