Any 6P users got the Google Assistant update yet?

My nexus 6p is on beta 7.1.2 and I just received assistant in the last hour.

Cool! I was just about to ask that question, if we're on the beta program will we still get it?

Mine came through overnight with absolutely no apps being updated or changed. So I am guessing it is a complete server-side issue.

I got it today as well....Held down home button and came up. Non Beta and VZW here FYI. Plus you can still send screen shots without saving to the gallery. Just swipe up after holding the home button and gives and option to send screenshot. Can't do it via voice command though

Google Assistant finally arrived for me last night around 9:00 (EST). Played with it for a while and everything was working fine. This morning, I wake up and its gone. Back to Google Now. Has anyone else experienced that or am I just special?

No notification for me, I just held the home button and it came up.

To clarify, the only beta I'm on is the Google app beta, I got no notification of a Play Services update (usually don't) and I'm still on 10.2.98. I'm on 7.1.1 with the March update.

I mean,all I can say is that's weird! In just being patient . That's all any of us who still haven't received it can do. Hopefully, of course, we'll get it soon.

Oh..BTW same story on my Pixel C tablet. Also in the Beta program . I even sideloaded the updated Google Services update and all that happened was a notice that says I must update Google Play as well. Did that as a sideload as well and the message didn't go away, and Assistant of course has not appeared either.

Got it last night..about 9pm Also was happy to see it has appeared on my wife's non-beta 5X. Still nothing on the Pixel C. And really..how much different is this than "Ok Google" ????? I am sure I am missing something.

After getting caught up with all these recent posts, I gave the old home button a press and there it was, Google Assistant! Aaaaaaaaand two seconds later it was back to the original Google. What the...

Just got mine. Vzw and not in Beta. But holding down the home button doesn't activate it. I get a quick square around the screen and then nothing....

Oh, well that's weird. I keep on activating the screen sharing feature, but nothing updates or changes itself.

Still no Assistant on my Nexus 6P, too. Funny that a lot of other phones outside the US have been getting Assistant, but the Nexus 6P in the US still does not.

I tried advice written by some of those users ... no luck:

• Wipe cache for Play Services and Google apps.
• Go into Google App > Settings > Search Language & re-select the English (US) option several times repeatedly

I think maybe Google just doesn't like us. hehe.
