Any Canadians have a Kindle Fire HDX from the USA and get the USA content?

Hi folks, bailing on my dead Playbook and want to buy a Kindle (if and only if I can get all the USA goodies). Any fellow Canuck out there that can help me out. Need to know what the first steps are.

What sort of US content are you looking for? If it's Netflix and HuluPlus, you'd need to be connected to WiFi that is using a DNS spoofer like unblock-us. Is that what you're talking about?
