Any date for Barclays and Natwest P40 series?

Hi all,

So I know that the P40 series doesn't allow the use of Natwest and Barclays apps but are they working on trying to get them on board or is it a case of they wont ever work? Side question, is there much difference between the app and using the browser on mobile?

Don't know for sure, since I don't have an account. I don't think the browser expereince is the same, at least not for my banks (Nationwide and Bank Of Scotland).

I tried searching for Natwest through Huawei's Petal Search, but I don't seem to find the app, so I think you might be stuck with browser version for now. Do you use it a lot on the mobile or more on laptop/desktop?

Used to use the app on a daily basis just to check amounts mostly but also transfer money to friends/family, guess the web browser version isnt much different for that I guess except bit more of a log in.

I see, hopefully the web version is alright with NatWest. I have Nationwide and I tried both mobile site version and app (comes across with Phone Clone, or download from Aptoide). Nationwide's website looks straight from 2002 .

I havent tested it yet, but barclays i presume works fine within the browser, i.e same features etc?

Heh, I hope they get behind Huawei Pay whenever that comes out. I'm not a big mobile payment kind of person, but it's nice to have, since I AM the wallet-forgetting kind of person and that's literally the only time I use it.

Not that I've seen, it's one of those "stay tuned" and "incoming" kind of features. I assume, since it involves people's hard earned 0s and 1s in their banking app, as well as privacy concerns, they want to get it right. Plus I'm sure it takes a while to get a decent chunck of banks on board.

I agree, I've seen now you can have up to £45 contactless, makes it much easier.
