Any difference in cameras?

Despite black bars on the side, I prefer shooting in 4:3 aspect ratio. Much easier to order prints of photos I like without much cropping. And it'll match the 4:3 ratio of my FZ-35 super zoom. When I'm printing photos from both I won't have to worry about different crops.
Good point. Didn't think of that.

Guys, this is what's already possible on our phones specifically the V10. This was all shot in the V10 without an electronic gymbal for even smoother video.(I'm getting one soon hopefully though) I put this together with Windows Movie Maker. Even if the improvements are minimal, we should be looking at some seriously good stuff with the V20.

Nice

Nice!! Looks like so much fun! I missed the state fair in Sacramento this year.
Did you shoot at 1080P / 60 fps, or UHD (4K)?

Does windows movie maker process 4K video?.. or does it "dumb" it down to 1080P?

Thank you. I shot in 1080p @60fps. I think Movie Maker probably doesn't process 4k/UHD as it hasn't been updated in years and 1080p usually suits my needs. I look forward to the fair every year.

Throwing this one out there... feel free to dispute it if you like.

One thing I have noticed about the V10 camera is the lens window can scratch easily. I have managed to put "very" faint scratches on mine from gently wiping off the dust and debris. I think its the AR coating on the lens. You can buy replacements, but AFIAK many of the 3rd party parts are not AR coated... and they are hit / miss in that regard.

I am not sure how this compares to the V20, but with a camera glass window that large / protruding, I think its something V20 owners should be careful with.

Agreed. My v10 got a scratch on the lens about a month in to owning it. It was very annoying since I bought the phone partially for its camera. I eventually got a replacement and put it in a case to protect the lens more so than the body.

Here's another video showing samples from the V20.

It looks like LG continues to set the software to be more sensitive light which means in auto mode you will not get the same quality of shots from its main competitors. That's a tad bit disappointing but a very solvable issue. The V10 suffers the same over sensitivity to light. I shoot in manual and RAW so I always underexpose the subject or expose for the highlights and simply bring up the shadows in post. That way you still get a highly detailed photo that's beautifully exposed and the highlights won't be blown out.

Ditto that here too, both on my G4 and my (albeit old) DSLR.
