It would be useful to have a negative display on a schedule, so that when you view it in the early morning in bed and such, the regular display screen doesn't blind you so you have to squint, it would be useful

for those purposes I use a dark theme from the Samsung theme store. solved my issues with that. I am very light sensitive. my specific theme in use is Metal_Black by MINU and then I change the other components to suit me.

I have a night mode like that, only just discovered it now, little settings type circle with the 3 dots, I must have enabled it by accident

yes seem to be stock internet app only, option not available in chrome or message app.
I like it though, wouldn't have noticed it only for this thread so thank you
