any experiencing the people edge frequently losing contacts?

I had the same problem but he latest version, 15.2.73, seems to have fixed this

No such problem on my s7 edge.

Do the contacts also go missing from your Contacts App too ?

Nope... always there. That's how I put them back.

I'm not sure why but I've got a problem with people disappearing from my contacts. I'm fairly sure it has something to do with Verizon cloud backups but even when I save them as a Google contact it happens too. The one I'm most aware of is my daughter. I'll get a text and her picture and name will be missing. I'll check my contacts and she'll be gone. I'll reenter her card and a week later I'll notice the deleted cards will reappear and I'll have 3 cards for her. It doesn't matter if I enter them as a Google or Verizon contact. I've had one other contact with this issue that I'm aware of and I not sure how many of my other contacts have been affected.

A conundrum !

I've been using the s7 edge since March with no such issue.

Maybe try deleting the contacts entirely from the phone and re key it back in to see if that helps.
