Any former 4s users rolling with Maxx HD?

I came from the iPhone4 to Maxx to MaxxHD. I also had the 4s forced on my be my employer, and it's sitting in my desk now. I think the battery is flat, but who cares?
Stock keyboard - yup. If you are a thumb typer or finger poker, the iPhone has the non-Swype or non-Swiftkey keyboards beat hollow. It's MUCH easier to use. But hey, you don't have a choice with iPhone, and I find Swype a huge improvement over the iPhone, and I like it better than Swiftkey. Even better than Swiftkey Flow.
Simplicity - yeah, the iPhone has that going for it. Definitely a phone for someone who doesn't care to make the phone theirs.
Apps - the iPhone has a better selection of quality apps, and no I am not going to argue with you about it so don't bother. Some of the better, specialized Android apps are only available on that platform, but for the more general user you're better off on iPhone. I'm talking games and so forth - the good ones come out first for iOS, seems like. But hey, STILL no widgets on iOS. What the heck? Why not?
Customization - Android blows away iPhone.
As for the rest, I like the Android platform. It's come a long way in just a few years. I had the original Droid which was barely usable. Now it's clean, stable, and looks good. It's a great phone platform. By comparison, iOS is starting to look old. It's still good, but it's boring. The hardware for iOS is great. The new iPhone5 is an awesome piece of electronics. Android varies all over the place, from superhot to slow and clunky, but you get what you pay for. If you want a budget smartphone you have to go Android. If you want a high performance phone, you can go Android or iOS. So Android gives you more choices in terms of hardware platforms.

I think both devices or should I say operating systems are good...different but good and that there are enough people in the world for both to survive and thrive. It is like everything else, personal preference. I happen to think the simplicity and consistency of the iPhone OS is an easier system to navigate and certainly more consistent from device to device since the system is essentially the same from phone to tablet to iPod.

I can't tell you how many people I see with an Android phone and iPad tablet...rarely the other way around though. I find myself looking for things on the Droid that mimic the iPhone in function and that is a testament to iOS. What I would like in iOS is the customization of the screens and widgets like I have on my Droid without having to jailbreak the device, but it is not a deal breaker for me. I still think iOS is better and more streamlined and my choice when it comes to phones.

This is me. My house is all Apple (2 Macbook Pros, iMac, iPad, ipod), EXCEPT for my phone. I did try and talk myself into an Android tablet, but the iPad just seemed like a better option. I wanted an iphone way back when I for my first Android phone, but Verizon didn't have them so I ended up Android and have never looked back. They are both great phones for different reasons as others have pointed out here. If you want a phone that just works that you don't have to mess with then the iPhone is for you. I tell several of my iPhone owning friends that "you look like an iPhone person" which gets them a little disgruntled until I explain that they are one who just wants their phone to work and they don't want to do a thousand customizations to it nor have the inkling to learn how. OTOH, I love the customizability of my Android phones and don't think I could ever go iPhone now. I could never do the puny screen size of them after being used to my larger phones (which I was nervous about before getting, but now seem perfectly normal).
