The main factor for me is the dev community. 1.5 GHZ dual core this phone could be relevant for years sort of like the nexus one. As long as enough developers are available for roms and such.

I am pretty certain the Space Shuttle never landed on the moon.

waiting for mine to ship from yesterday's costco sale. Glad to hear current owners like it so much.

coming from a 2+ year old Pre Plus with a fading battery I've gotten good at power conservation and recharging techniques. So if that's the worst this phone as then bring it on!

Once I get my extended battery I'll be good with this phone for at least 20 months

I used the upgrade on my primary line to get the Rezound. SO far I'm in love!! I could keep it for the two yrs...but I won't, because when the iPhone 5 comes out, I'll have an upgrade on another line and use that to get it. I'm really looking forward to the ICS upgrade.

I gotta say though that I love the HTC interface comapred to Motorola Android phones.

I read the whole post. enough said. I think you pretty much stated what has been in every persons head. (not that all will admit or recognize it.) I came from an original motorola droid.. The build was terrible..In the 20 months I owned it, warranty replaced it 23 times. I did lots of research. Like you, I think this is the phone to keep. For a good long while anyways.
