Yes Laura, I also have the paid version and I find it excellent especially for a large amount of music files. Also, the recent update to the equaliser is very good. i used Neutron for many years but find Poweramp much easier to navigate. Neutron is very complex and a step too far for a mobile phone.

I feel the same as you regarding Neutron, which I've also used in the past. I have over 50 GB FLAC files.

That's more than me. I've got roughly 40gb of MP3 files. More files though I guess as they're smaller.

To the OP. You could also try Blackplayer. It's free but is reasonably fully featured.
