any leak peeps get ice update?

i've done this twice now,it just keeps on going back to the .10 leak i flashed 2 months ago,is there a way to delete the .10 file,or something else im missing.please help

You need to re-lock and then flash the RUU in HBOOT (twice)

.12 is certainly smoother than .10 was.

HTC's Voice Recorder app still fails in ICS, though. It was unstable in .10 and again here in .12. Using a 3rd party app for recording use.

I never was unlocked,never rooted,all I did b4 was a flash.

Thinkiking about the .12 ruu. Never tried to back up my apps. What's the best way? Non rooted device.

to do a true back up you have to have your phone rooted.

If your just backing up apps then use a file manager like Astro to backup your apps.

I've put it on sd ext. When I go to hboot nothing happens. It acts like its reading files and after each different file it says no IMG. Any ideas? I'm still on .10 BUT I've successfully accidentally erased my memory except sd card. I need to go ahead and get .12 running so I don't have to go through this again. Any help would appreciated.

So when you downloaded that file did is save as ph98img.zip or was it named something else? If something else change it to ph98img.zip and reattempt hboot

Nevermind. Figured it out. Turns out I didn't have it saved in the right place. I didn't put in on the root of my sd. Brilliant. Anyways, flashed twice, now I'm on .12. Hope it was worth it lol.

Mine is named right and in the right place it gets read then checked then nothing it stops. It gives the the regular stuff fastboot, recovery ,factory reset but it does not flash

Mine won't give me the option to choose recovery,to find the .12 file,just automatically starts reading the .10 file.thank goodness I cut my hair short,cause I'd b pulling it out now.

If you still have the .10 file delete it off your card...that's the problem most likely

Welcome...I was told by someone to delete it or it could cause issues if I needed to troubleshoot my phone. I keep the file on an extra sd card I have. I just have to pop it in the phone I want to run it on. Gonna do the same thing with the .12 if I decide to do it.

When I flashed the .10 file my phone did this. Tells me something is not right with the file. Not renamed right or not on the ..root..of the external sd card. My problem was I didn't move it out of the downloads folder into its own place on the card.
