Anyone other than those living in Germany and "nordic countries" getting a sniff of the new update? I am checking my update button about once an hour but still nothing. I presume it will be front page on the blog but thought I would ask anyway.

Offical release for our TMO Sensation probably not coming until later this month or begining of April would be my guess.

I don't know if I would bet on that. T-Mobile has a lot of motivation to NOT roll out this update soon.
1) A major upgrade will generate a lot of calls to T-Mobile's support centers. Calls to support centers are treated as a cost and a negative against the bottom line

2) Upgrading the Sensation prior to the release of the HTC One S may undercut the sales of the HTC One.

All in all, I'm hoping it will come out by the end of March or early April, but wouldn't be surprised if it isn't released until mid summer, later, or even never.

According to TMOBILE the update will start pushing on the 23rd

Source? As recently as yesterday on their Facebook page T-Mobile was replying to inquiries regarding the ICS rollout for the Sensation by saying they had encountered problems with ICS on the Sensation and were sending it back HTC for further revisions. Doesn't sound to me like the release will come before the 2nd half of 2012.

listen dude. you don't have to be argumentative with me. I simply asked tech support a question because I had to call them anyway. I thought I would be nice and post what they said but the only thing I am getting in return is criticism. I will not sit here in debate with you because you're an end user just like me and no more credible than anyone else.

SERIOUSLY, what are you some kind of expert? You obviously posted your comment as if you were someone in the know. Since you choose to say t-mobile is wrong, may i ask how do come to conclusion that your opinion is anymore valid then t-mobile Tech Support?

You've been misinformed.HTC has stated it will start being pushed out to HTC Sensation and other devices near the end of march. Its out there if you care to look. 2nd half of 2012? Wrong.

Looks folks, T-Mobile is saying publicly via it's Facebook page that the Sensation ICS rollout is not ready to begin due to problems with it. The following is a copy and paste from an official post yesterday by T-Mobile in response to an inquiry regarding the ICS rollout. There are multiple posts where T-Mobile replies in a similar manner.
"T-Mobile USA we are currently testing ICS on the Sensation but it isn't the experience we are looking for so HTC is working on our feedback before we send it out and we don't have a time yet. ^KM"
If we start seeing it rollout today or even in the next week you can throw a hearty "HA HA" Nelsen style at me, until then, I've yet to be proved incorrect in my opinion.
