When I was chatting with a Tier Two tech rep at Verizon a month ago to try and solve one of my nagging little problems, I casually asked her about the MM update that some of the other carriers were starting to roll out, and some of the problems they were having with battery life actually getting worse. She said that was normal for new OS rollouts, and why Verizon didn't update soon, letting other carriers work the bugs out first like some of the posters in this thread have mentioned. No timeline, but hopefully when we do get it, it will just work

I'm hoping this is the case as well. For now, I'm perfectly content with Lollipop on my G4. It works great.

Maybe they sold out. With the recent deals Verizon had you could get a G4 for free, or even get more in rebates and cashback than it cost in the first place.

with the G5 getting announced on Feb. 21, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised
that Verizon corporate store removed the G4 early.

Well, this could either be a good sign or bad.... Looks like it will be rolling out to the Verizon G3 before the G4 gets it.

They must figure people with a G3 would feel slighted if us G4 owners got ours ahead of them...too bad they can't release them at the same time.

well.. the G5 will be in VZW stores in March... pretty sure the G4 won't get MM before then

G4 back on the display counter at my local Verizon corporate store this morning.

Still no sign of MM update for Verizon G4 yet, unfortunately.
