Any news of update for tab 3 8.0 as far as 4.3 JB or beyond?

Hi folks, the nexus 7 got kitkat but I had to return the N7 because of video problems. I'm happy with the tab 3 8 but would love to update it. Any news?

It's gonna be a long wait. That's why I have a n7 and a sgt 3 8. Best of both worlds! Just gotta try and get the best deal you possibly can on the n7 because chances are after several returns you are just going to have to "live" with a minor defect. Unfortunate but oh so true.

I'm not an expert but I believe 1.5 gb is enough.

I thought that Kit Kat was made specifically to be able to be run on "lower" end devices, such as ones that have only 500MB of RAM. Unless I'm mistaken...

It has 3GB of Ram as advertised.
Real life it has almost 2.4
