Any news on Gear S2 Classic Updates?

Today the app updated, but that's it. I know back in November Korea got the update with the orange notification dot, the Starbucks app, etc. Are we every going to see that patch come here to the U.S. or is this yet again Samsung's MO of, "we're gonna sell a device then cancel support for it instantly and sell a new one next year with all the updates the old one was supposed to get."

I have given up hope of ever getting that update. I have purchased every one of the Samsung watches and as I got a new one I passed the last one to the next person in my family. I am amazed that when they bring out the new one else they can clearly the apps out of the app store. My son can't even get a simple calculator app for the first gear. There is almost nothing going available for the 1st and 2nd watches. I think this will probably be my last one too but you never know.

If there are no updates and they stop supporting the watch in a year, this will be my last Samsung watch.

It'll probably be my last Samsung device. I like my S6, but I'm getting tired of Samsung dropping support for their devices the moment the next one comes out.

I have to agree. I like the systems but their customer service is so abysmal that it's starting to not be worth it.

I"d be happy if they'd just give us a ballpark on when the update was coming, or if it is at all. Just show some consideration; it's only professional. Seriously though, my next phone will probably not be a Samsung simply because of this. Time to branch out.
