Any news on when Samsung is gonna upgrade to Marshmallow

I have the Galaxy S6 edge. I think it's about time my phone gets marshmallow, but it seems that Samsung is mum on whether they'll upgrade the 2015 flagships or not. Anyone know what's up?

No, not if history's any teacher; Sammy's one of the slowest to update phones, although from what we've heard their 2015 flagships are supposed to get it sometime in early 2016 (probably Feb).

Yes, and the device was left without a baseband and IMEI...

Yes, it's possible it might come before the end of the year, but that would be a first.

IIRC they were pretty quick with the 5.1 updates (jun/jul).
