Any Nexus 6P owners upgrading to a Pixel XL?

Yep, the camera alone was enough for me. I had a galaxy S6, hated the phone, bit loved the camera. The Nexus 6p, like the phone but still missing the camera of the S6. I'm going to keep the 6p as a spare for either myself, my wife or my company. I'm also going to test drive Project Fi on it.

I would like to, but at these prices I'll probably hold off for a bit. Not saying it isn't worth it, just that it's hard to justify when my 6P is still working so well.

I like the phones but my rule is to not buy a new phone every year, so no ..no Pixel for me this time. Will be looking at the next Pixel release.

I want one, but my wife said no, so... I'm probably not getting one this year, unless I can convince her to get me one as a graduation present.

I may have made a wrong decision, but I'm going smaller. The Pixel in black, for me. (I hope the battery in the thing is big enough).

If this phone was $650 shipped, I would have pulled the trigger without thought. I can buy a 60 inch LED Smart TV for less than the cost of the Pixel XL. I think that Google has shot themselves in the foot, and I believe that in a few months we will see the desperation through fire sales to get these phones moving.

My short answer would be No. My Nexus 6p is a good phone and should be good until next year's Pixel XL 2 comes out. Hopefully next year's phone will have a similar screen size as the Nexus 6p. I was concern with a large screens when I decided to buy the 6p and now I cannot see myself going with a phone with a smaller screen than the 6p. The price $ tag also makes me think twice about it cause I would have to purchase my partner's phone and my phone so 2 phones and that's a lot of money. I rather spend that amount of money on a trip to the wine country.

I want to, but feel like the price I'm paying is not that much of an upgrade. I told myself that this will determine whether I go back to an iPhone or not, but I really think I want to get a Pixel. Just not sure I want to pay that price tag. Maybe after a few month the price will come down a bit..

Short of being easy to drop, I really have no complaints about the 6P so not actively looking for a replacement. If it offered a little more I might have bit, but probably wise to adopt a wait and see attitude with the new line and just see how it develops.

Here we go folks. I sold my 6P couple months back to prepare for the upgrade and now that this crap is out, I just bought a like new 6P for $270. Oh ya, welcome back honey. I missed you hehehehe. I'm all set for next year or when Pixel XL drops below $400. Have fun guys.

That's probably one of the most mature responses regarding price of the Pixel that I've heard yet. Thank you.

I went for the Pixel, not the XL. The 6P size is great for media consumption, but I look forward to maybe having a device that can be used with one hand.

With the money I'm not spending to get the XL, I also ordered a Google Home. I have had an Echo since it's pre-release days, but like the direction Home is seeming to go. Integration with the Nest is awesome, Google Cast is nice touch, and I like new toys!

I'm waiting for reviews.

I've had my 6P since a little bit after launch and it's my first Nexus. Still a great phone, only thing negative is the slow camera and that is why I'm even considering an XL though I do feel they are too expensive.

I am keeping my 6P, but bought a black XL 128GB for my son. Will see how it does and help make my decision easier in the future as to which way I want to go.

@maher79...Curious as to what you used between the time you sold the old 6P up until buying the latest 6P?

I did order the Silver PXL with 128GB... 6P has been great but I'm looking forward to the new Google Assistant

Yep 128GB Quiet Black.

Love my 6P and think it's the best phone I have ever owned, but I do get some thermal throttling at times. Plus I need to feed the addiction of new phones, so the 6P will remain as a backup and eventually be given to my Dad as an upgrade for his aging S5.
