I checked out the IPhone 6 plus. The phone was narrower and thinner than the Note 3 and a lot easier to hold, although the back of the phone seemed too smooth and possibly slippery. The screen was very bright and surprisingly did as well in sunlight as the Note 3. The camera on the 6 plus just blew away the Note 3 even though it was only 8 megapixels. It focused super fast even when in low light and taking a macro. The colors were more vivid even comparing to the Note 3 in HD mode. It performed less well when zooming in, probably because it having only 8 megapixels. The optical image stabilization was so good that even with my intentionally shaking the camera, it took a sharp picture. I liked that the volume control served also as a shutter button. The user isn't offered a lot of different modes like with Samsung, but the IPhone camera seems to make correct adjustments without as much user intervention needed.
What I didn't like about the 6 plus was IOS. I hate that there is no consistent back button. I hate the boring same layout of icons on its homepages. They all look the same.
As a phone, I didn't get the chance to make any calls with the 6plus. I can't verify claims that Apple has improved call clarity unlike any other cell phone. If that could be substantiated, I may have to overlook IOS and consider the 6 plus along with the Note 4 in my short list of phones for my next upgrade.
