Any other LG G3 users having problems responding to " OK GOOGLE " ?

So when I unlock my phone I used to be able to say ok Google and it would search for what ever I said after that. No it won't respond to ok Google. Help!

Do you still have the Google search widget on your home screen?

There is a setting in the latest version of the Google Search app to enable this from anywhere on the phone. Make sure it is checked. Some launchers also have their own setting config for this. I have both checked to allow and it works fine.

Well Google voice is on but I do not see where to check it for home screen.

Go to Settings, Voice, "OK Google" Detection, and choose your options...

I use Nova launcher which has the OK Google feature baked in (can use it from any screen). Funny thing though, when I look into the phone settings as shown above it says that the feature from any screen is not compatible with my language so I can't turn it on and off.

The G3 doesn't recognize english? lol

Make sure language is English (US). I had mines on English UK cuz I liked the accent and was getting the same error.

I just update my LG G3 to the new 5.01 Lollipop. Now my OK Google won’t respond. I used to be able to just say OK Google and it would come right up now it doesn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My OK Google had the empty microphone on it after I first upgraded. When I tapped on it and it opened and I said OK Google it worked and from that point on the microphone on my home screen has been filled.
