Curved display, there aren't any working tgsp for Samsung edged phone users. Even the plastic screen protectors start lifting off after a few weeks.

Ah ok, though keep in mind the Pixel screen has a curve at the edge. I imagine because of this any tempered glass protectors won't cover the full screen

The camera and super-fluid touch response are a couple of things to get excited about. Unlimited cloud storage is another. About to pull the trigger on a Pixel.

Typing this from my Note 7 as I pray it doesn't blow up in the next week before my Pixel gets here!

I'm actually excited. Been with Samsung for far too long... S3, Note 3, Note 4, Note 5, Note 7.

Can't wait for the Pixel!

Oh yeah - and I had given up on ALL screen protectors with the Note 7. Lol. I tried every type....

I was excited too because I'm also coming from a Note 7.

The other thing I'm excited about is experiencing the vanilla Google experience. I'm just afraid that Verizon will ruin it!

Software version of image stabilization for the camera, it might be better than OIS without the bulky hardware.

I've already ordered PET film protectors for my pre-ordered Pixel XL.
I hold out hope that I might find glass protectors useful. Of course on my N7, they just didn't work.
But overall, even when then do "work" it's hard for me to get past the visual of having a slab of glass on my phone. Film is not as protective, but it doesn't shout "hey, I have a slab of glass on my beautifully designed phone" from across the room. Film is almost perfectly invisible, if it's cut right and installed properly, so that's why I typically use film.

Just my opinion, and I remain open to using glass, I just want to see one that that is less visually offensive to me.

I've use both of my Note 7s naked for their entire life span, short though it was, and they are in mint condition. I plan to keep the XL nude too.

Me too! I used to have "naked screen anxiety" - but being forced into using nothing on my Note 7 screens for 1.5 months has changed me a bit. Just a UAG case - no protectkrw.

I mean if I can get a glass protector to fit without halo - cool, but if not, I think the screen will survive.

Heck - my year old Note 5 glass protector didn't have a scratch on it either.

That sucks. Pointless to have a screen protector that doesn't over the whole screen
