Any Previous Pixel 3 XL Owners Having 2nd Thoughts?

Now I need to decide if I have to keep Note 10 or the Note 10+. Basically I need to return one and send the trade in device for the other.

I have issues

I wouldn’t even hesitate to keep the Plus. Better device and better trade in!

Yeah I keep trying to remind myself that the Pixel 3 battery was horrendous, video camera was subpar, audio isn’t as good as Galaxy phones, and the screen sucks in direct sunlight.

I have both and the Pixel photos are just marginally better, IMO, that everything else on Samsung devices is what keeps them as my primary device. Google can't even get gestures right on their own OS. Lol. I still manage to get blurry shots of my kids also with my Pixel and any photo that I plan to share from either device I always edit in post anyway that it doesn't matter which device it comes from. All I know is I can get great shots from both devices and they each have their limitations and I learn how to work around them. Honestly the camera is the least deciding factor between flagship devices it's the complete package that matters and Samsung just has that for the money.

Yeah it's definitely the better device but man I have moved on from big devices. Had the Pixel 3 XL and Xs Max earlier and moved to smaller Pixel 3 and Xs. Even with S10 series I couldn't deal with S10+ and had to settle for S10.
I love the Note 10+ everytime I pick up but deep down I know I'll regret the size few weeks in.

Trade in wise I get the same $600 for both so that's not a consideration. And when I trade this in for the S11 I'm pretty sure Samsung will give the same price for both the 10 and 10+. I'm only looking for the next 6 months

I mean Samsung makes the decision easy for us with some tantalizing trade in offers at launch

I have seen many people in the tech circles jump on the $600 trade in for the Pixel 3. That one was easy to push you over the hump if you were undecided. Even for the iPhone X $600 is a great trade in value.

If so, please share why?

I am so torn. On one hand, I love so many things about this phone, and on the other hand, the only thing that disappointed me is that Samsung camera still way over expose things and trying to take a none blurry picture of my none stop moving 20 months kid is so frustrating.

If I end up returning it. It will be because of that. Everything else is better on the Note 10+, including videos and that ultra wide camera is great too.

I'm having the exact same experience. My Note is going back today. My kids move way too much for Samsung cameras. Same thing happened with the S10 I had. Pixel 4 XL will be ordered for sure.

The speakers on the Pixel 3 XL are way better than the speakers on the Note 10+. The Pixel screen is definitely too dim though.

Finally someone that shares my frustrations. I can't believe Samsung has not figured how to control their blurry hell while Google did. I really want to keep this phone. I love everything else about it.

The speakers on the Pixel 3 XL are way better than the speakers on the Note 10+. The Pixel screen is definitely too dim though.

Oh I don’t care alot speakers. I’m talking about headphone and Bluetooth output which has always been just average on Pixels compared to Galaxy and iPhones

It is a great phone. I like the options the camera offers, but blurry doesn't work for me. I hope the Pixel 4 brings something good to the table.

No regrets. The pixel has an awesome camera but for a lot of situations, the Note 10+ beats it in that department.
