hi, all.

i'm considering a Kindle Fire for classes that I'm taking. i'm hoping to get a confirmation from KFire owners first, though --

1. is there any problem opening your own PDF files (ebooks downloaded off the net) on your KFire?

2. is there a pre-installed app that allows you to highlight & notate the PDF files?

thanks so much! :)

I have pdfs for both business and recreation on my fire and the adobe reader from the Amazon app store works great. I will try Repligo. It'd be nice to be able to annotate the files.

If you haven't, I also recommend trying ezPDF Reader Pro. I've been using it on my phones for a couple years, and was REALLY glad it was available in the (weak) NOOK app store.

1. yes - no wifi
2. adobe reader has a search function, very very useful compared to the stock reader
