Any real need for .588 or .595

Have been running .573 rooted since it was leaked, and enjoying it very much with Lp of course....I know there are .588, .591, .595 leaks any real reason to update to those...seems like a lot of hassle for not much reward...

I would at least update to 588. 588 includes an updated baseband.

I'm just trying to figure out how to get back to Froyo from. 588 so that I'm able to get the official GB release.

I would definitely update to .595 since my experience was smoother than the previous GB leaks. I'm rooted and deodexed, even though I'm not always attempting to change or theme my phone. I can't pinpoint what specifically was changed, the system just seems more stable and operates faster.

If you haven't had any issues I wouldn't change, I only updated to try to resolve a few apps issues but I learned that issue was because of no GB support.

Just what I wanted to hear, thanks :)

Same here. .573 is smoking for me and the" chase the bigger number game" with no REAL and VISIIBLE improvement is a little ridiculous.

Hand someone 4 identical X's with the only difference being .573, .588, .591 and .595 and ask them to tell you which one is which. Never happen.....

I was late to the party, so I started with .588 instead of .573. Ran .588 for quite a while until a couple days ago when I made the jump to .595. A few of the bugs I'd seen around .588 (stopwatch timer behavior was always a little weird) are gone, and it seems more stable overall. Granted, it hasn't been very long, so I can't really give great impressions on battery life or stability at this point. The major reason I even upgraded in the first place was to run the leaked Netflix app that didn't work on .588, but I'm happy I did.

Sounds like the next "official" release is right around the corner, though, so if you're happy and stable where you're at, I'd stay.

I'm on 573 and i am waiting for the OTA to be rooted and deodexed before i update, 573 isn't 100% stable but it works great for me have patience!

If I'm on .573 and wanted to upgrade to one higher, do I need to SBF or just install overtop of what I currently have, after a factory reset of course?

Installing over top is recommended. Updating to. 595 puts u on the latest radio and bootloader which runs a bit smoother than the lesser Ginger builds.
No factory reset needed.

I'm still on .573 for the simple fact I couldn't get the netflix app to work with the higher versions.
