Any regrets choosing the G6 over the S8?

Anyone regret going to the lg G6 over the Samsung S8 series

True that ☺. I couldn't give the S8 a fair shake because I'm just not into the edge display. Others really enjoy it and for them the S8 is a killer option

Wide angle should be on every flagship smartphone. Great feature.

Nope. Don't like edge displays, and I like the feel of the G6. The S8 felt like plastic. Felt like it would creak if you twisted it.

I would say no. My only complaint is the camera speed in low light... Otherwise the G6 is amazing.

Zero, zilch. 3 things for me: flat screen, wide angle (front and rear), in-hand feel. Bonus: cost me $99 (Yeah, I still can't get over the price). Love this phone.

None at all. The S8 wasn't even a consideration with its curved display. Just browsing the S8 forum and seeing how much trouble people are having finding good Tempered glass screen protectors, justifies my purchase even further.

No regrets. Love the LG. Only thing is wish the internal storage was at least 64 gb and not 32. Not all the apps can be moved to the micro SD card (and I have a 200 gb micro SD card!)

This was a huge deciding factor for me that pushed me to the S8+. I need a MINIMUM of 64GB internal storage. I wish LG had made the 64GB option available in the US.

I'm in the market for a new phone and this is the only reason I have hesitation on this phone in particular. What prevents certain apps from being moved to the SD card? Is it the app developer, the type of app, or what?

I love my G6. Got it the day it came out and then sold it for the s8+. realized I made a mistake and bought it again.

I loved it until the u11 came out. No reason why i should be getting 6 hours SOT on the u11 and i can barely get 4:30 hours on the g6 with a bigger battery than the u11.

Sounds like a lot of people went the G6 route because of the curved screen. I feel Samsung screwed up by not offering the S8 as a flat screen and the plus as the edge screen.

How many would have had a harder time if Samsung did have the S8 as a flat screen?
