Any regrets getting this phone?

I'm not surprised at all. The same thing happens with the new Samsung phones... Pretty much a trend.. as soon as them phones start hitting customers. The sales start ramping up on Swappa

Unfortunately Pixel phones don't hold their value compared to Samsung but that's just natural considering how long Samsung has been at this. I can never stray away from Pixel phones. I love the features too much!

I agree. As far as whatever the P7 Pro is I will not spend the money I spent on my Pixel 6 Pro, which was the most $$ I spent on any phone. I expect to do a trade-in when the time comes. I do plan on staying with the Pixel line.

Yes indeed... iPhone is really the value holder ..Samsung trade ins gets better value than some sales too ...it's just the way things go ... shopping for newer phones if you do homework there are some great deals on Android phones ...but I understand most like to finance their phones ..

I'm surprised Google doesn't offer more generous trade in values on their older Pixel phones. That's a fast way to increase resale value.

I like pixels because of the software, have owned 2 in a row and planned on a third, but after doing some hands on at my local Best Buy, I realized what I really wanted was a big screen phone that fit comfortably in my pocket like a small phone... so I left with a Z Flip 3 ;) I will definitely own another pixel, but it probably won't be a 6.

I was thinking about getting my wife a 6, because my last 2 pixels have been great phones, and she really likes the simple stock Android experience with the call screen/live transcribe/spam blocking etc, but she also needs a reliable phone for her business (she's not a techie and doesn't have much patience)... and right now the 6 line doesn't seem to be the phone for her.

Like everyone else I'm curious to see how the 6 line shapes up... but I may be waiting for the 7 to let them refine things a little more ;)

My wife is probably a lot like yours when it comes to tech. She won't even walk into a Best Buy. If she has issues with her Pixel 4a she just says "fix it" and tosses it to me.
I love flip phones. My all time favorite "phone" was the Motorola Razr V4. I still have it. When I saw that Motorola was releasing a new Razr I was excited until I read and saw the reviews. Then the Samsung Flip 3. The latest looks nice but the price and the compromises just didn't hook me. What I would love to see is a Pixel 6/7 Pro "flip"without any spec compromises. I would take out a loan for that.

Our wives are exactly alike lol.... whatever tech breaks around our house I get the "pretty please" fix it look, and I fix it lol. I also buy all the tech, as in pick it out and pay for it ;) But I have a great lady who spoils me rotten, so that's the least I can do for her :p

I was going to try and hold out for Google's foldable that was supposedly coming, but once I heard it was cancelled until at least 2023, and Best Buys Black Friday sale staring me in the face, I couldn't resist :p

Our wives might have been sisters separated at birth.
When I decided that it was time to put our BlackBerrys to rest and go with Pixel 4a she said "Whatever you decide will be fine." Switching from ATT to Google Fi..."If you think that's best."
I carry a heavy burden.

Lol..but it's a burden worth bearing ;)

I had high hopes for this phone but it just ain't working out. Gonna sell it paired with accessories while I can still recoup most of my money for it.

I got a pixel 6 as a upgrade (Pro isn't available). It's still unopened on the box. As I was going to sell it and but the pro version. I've 14 days to return it from the time I upgraded. So it has to be returned before the 13th. I think I'll wait for the S22 instead. It's a pity. I really wanted to get back to a pixel again. But there seems to be too many bugs

My Pixel 6 Pro is on the November update and I certainly don't have or have experienced the plethora of bugs that seem to be reported. I'm sure the same would go for the P6 if I had one. In fact I would say my phone is bug free or at least free of noticeable or impacting bugs.

Which model do you have and why is it not working out?

Pixel 6 pro. Lots of little things. My Bluetooth connection drops out for no reason. Battery life has been subpar. Random lags and freezes in apps that I never saw on other phones. I really wanted it to work out but it's not for me. I hope you are enjoying yours, though.

I'm sorry to hear that.
Yes, I'm very much enjoying my Pixel 6 Pro.

Maybe when the 7 line gets released, a lot of these bugs will be ironed out!

Are you able to use it and still return it before the 13th? If so, might as well give the phone a shot for a few days and see if you like it.

But I'm somewhat in a similar boat to you. The honeymoon period has worn off and crashed with the reception issues in December update. So I'm kinda just waiting for this January update to convince me to keep the phone otherwise I too will just move to the Galaxy S22.
