Any Regrets?

Yeah. I have a bunch of posts on here, too. I do miss the Note 7 but that wouldn't have been enough to make me not like this phone if it would only be able to use the 4g/lte I am paying for.I wouldn't have loved it,( I am not a stock android lover, the screen is smaller than I wanted and it is severely overpriced, but I had to get a phone to replace the 2nd recalled one, since I didn't have a backup, and this was the only one that seemed interesting,) but I would have liked it a lot. I'm stuck with it. Will trade it for something else first opportunity. If Google fixes whatever is causing the occasional dropped call and the constant inability of the phone to connect, I will keep it longer than otherwise.

You are lucky you only get the occasional dropped call. Dropped calls are all I get on mine. If someone sends me text while I am on a call it's a guaranteed dropped call

I prefer a 5.7" screen, coming from the Note 7 and the Note 4. I have screen size envy when I see my spouse's V20 5.7" screen. I wish the XL were 5.7". I rely on light flow notifications, which is a no go on the V20. Overall, I really like the XL. If only the screen were bigger....

I bought the Very Silver XL, having failed to pay attention to the fact that it has a white face - something I really do not care for. Trying to get used to it, but I don't think I will ever be able to love it. I will most likely put a DBrand skin on the face just to darken it up.

Other than that, I love the phone, the camera, the screen - really, everything about it.

My 6p is 5.7. I notice no difference...except that I can actually reach across the screen.

The screen size difference is noticeable when comparing the V20 to the XL (or very noticeable to me). I still like the XL very much, but just prefer a slightly bigger display. I felt like the Note 4 screen seemed bigger than the Note 7 because of the Note 7's curved edges. I actually don't like curved screens as much. I prefer the XL over the Note 7 screen.

@mhettrich - I get you're trying to call him out on misspelling but he is actually making a comical reference from the movie "We're the Millers" where a kid has "No Ragrets" tattooed on his chest. ;).

Oh I caught it haha. That was Jason Sudeikis' response to the character in the movie when he saw the tattoo. No calling out intended.

i regret buying it but have now sent it back for a refund. I won't expound on my reasons but for me the value vs price just isn't worth it.

I had the Nexus 6 and I much prefer 6" screens. I now have the Moto Z Force and think 5.5" is a bit small, but usable. Using our son's upgrade (because he has the Nexus 6,but wants my Moto Z Force) I ordered the pixel XL. I also would prefer a bigger screen, 6" if possible, but oh well.

Can you imagine a 7" or 8" Pixel Tablet with comparable specs?

I have a pixel c and it's amazing. So yeah, I can imagine it.

I honestly think the XL would be almost perfect for me if the screen were 5.7". I know many complain about the Pixel not being waterproof and wireless charging capable, but those factors aren't dealbreakers for me. I don't think the XL is overpriced or "not worth it" since I am assuming my T-Mobile Pixel Promo will kick in ($325 credit over 24 months) for bringing the XL to my already good unlimited plan.

No regrets about buying it.

I kinda wish I would have bought two of them since I had to give my test small Pixel back and now all I have is the XL I bought which I'm using as my personal phone and my 6P as my work phone now.

One missing thing I find in Google Pixel is the camera app not featuring OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) technology which can make pictures seems brighter even in the low light :( I am one of the craziest fan of taking photos that is why I got little disappointed by not seeing this technology in Pixel. Overall the phone is good :)
