The preorders are shipping now. It will be in stores next week.

I'm sure reviews will be done soon.

There are 3 other forums for the SGS3 for the other providers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint). They all got their phones already and are posting reviews / issues. You can check those out in the meantime.

There are reviews for the ATT version, and they use 4G too...

All the phones are the exact same hardware wise on every carrier...the only difference is the logo. haha

i have not seen any reviews on the phone news websites. the verizon version has been shrouded in a cloud of mystery and i'm really curious as to why.

With Verizon, three possibilities:
1. They've installed something unexpected, like Jelly Bean
2. They've disabled something unexpected, like NFC
3. Other

i'm hoping it's something positive, i was worried that it was battery life is horrible with their lte network like other phones.

Or Verizon has installed something completely expected: Verizon bloatware. Honestly, it seems Verizon has the worst reputation when it comes to bogging their phones down with bloat.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Verizon figured out a way to make the phone extremely difficult to root.

I've been waiting for reviews for the Verizon version as well.
I'm curious as to how Verizon's 4G LTE will have on battery life.
Can't really compare battery life to those running on other carrier networks.
Even though the Sprint version is CDMA, it's only running on 3G.

Due to the 28nm chip and if the antenna design is good, battery life should be a LOT better than current LTE devices from VZW. Signal reception is the number one issue as a result.

Is it Razr/Rezound good, or Gnex bad?

Probably the most accurate review would be the Sprint one since that carries a CDMA radio. Even if you are in a strong 4G area, CMDA still gets used for calls, and texts.

Battery life in Verizon 4G phones will probably always suffer compared to their GSM only cousins because of the dual radios. As long as it isn't as bad as the VZW GNex (and I think a lot of that was low signal issues) it should be ok.
