Any rooted RAZR owners yet?

I rooted today. I wanted to try to see if an FM Radio would work. Havent got it working yet so far. I need to try a few other things.

But root is working. I used Root Explorer to to to get the Radio files in the right places. And I just installed SetCPU to see if I could underclock it. For those that havent rooted before or are just nervous I wouldnt recommend using SetCPU right now until there is a sbf or custom recovery.

Had it rooted within 1 hour of getting the Razr home. Titanium running, etc. Just waiting for a Clockwork recovery to come out. I like to take full image backup's with it.

So you have root and you have "free" mobile hotspot working via barnacle? Just want to make sure of that...

No it didn't sorry for the bad info, it looks like verizon has stepped up its game on the tethering side. The can detect and block most of the tethering programs. I did get it to work using the info here: RAZR root - wireless tether issue

Make sure you get the pre 101 version under all downloads for wifi router.. I sent this tethered to my RAZR.

No its working fine, but you never know. If one havent used it before start mucking around with stuff they dont know about....might not be pretty.

I cant remember what it was on my Droid 1 but messing around with Profiles and setting something too low I couldn't answer the phone. Or something, cant really remember right now. Maybe SetCPU is more safer than it was back then.

Its just always good to have a good recovery in place in case anything goes wrong. Like I shouldnt be messing around with the FM Radio and permissions yet. I hit the wrong file or delete the wrong thing by mistake....
