Any solution?

[Android Central Question]

I dont know what happened to my s8 plus. All of sudden it started making distorted sound while making calls, playing music etc. I simple restart would fix the problem and the problem comes back again after some time. I found out that if i eject the sim tray, the problem would be gone. I used it like for hours without the sim tray the distortion problem wont come. But as soon as i kept the sim tray, the problem came back again. Any idea?

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen in Safe Mode as well? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-34283. If so, then I'd wonder if there's some hardware issue -- perhaps the SIM tray is impinging on some important speaker connection.
