i dont have anything flashed to this phone or it rooted with ed04, and ive been having some exciting lag even with closing my apps with back and task killer occasionally. is there something possibly other than voodoo that i could use?

after my near brick experience with voodoo id rather not go back but im open to the idea. :)

so is your phone fully stock?
how did you get back to stock?
was this after you went back to stock that you noticed your phone lagging?
or was it something else?

Slight aside, but why the hate for task killer? Seriously, I work on most of my coworkers' phones so I would like to know why.

The Andriod system was built to run smoothly and quick. In order to do so, it allows certain tasks to run in the background for quicker access. Even if you don't use that certain app or process, Andriod is able to "sel monitor" its system to optimize percormance. Some people believe that killing tasks will help battery life, when in fact, you are doing the oposite. By killing tasks, the Andriod OS will spend more resources and power to start them up again, imstead of lettinf the idle in the background. Trust me, the Andriod OS does a much better job thqn any task killer can do. Let the driod do its thing!

Thank you for the info! I'll be removing that off mine and my wife's phones shortly.
