Looking for an Android sized like an iPhone 6, with decent specs, under $500 AUD. Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a new phone for myself, I currently am using an iPhone 6, but I've never really liked iPhone's.
Here are what I preferably want in the phone:
- Big screen
- Similar weight and dimensions to the iPhone 6
- No notch (But mini-notches and camera dot's are fine)
- Less than $500 AUD
- Compatible with Optus (Australian Carrier)
- Easily rooted
- Good overall specs (Doesn't need to play AAA games, just want something that can handle things like asphalt 8 fine.)
- 128GB storage (64GB is fine if 128GB is not an option)
- Touch ID (Fine with either under the screen or on the back) or Face ID (Again, no notch)
- Preferably not Samsung or Google, while I do like their phones, I don't really like them as a business and don't want to support them.
- Decent OS (Obviously not a requirement as long as I could switch it over to Pixel Experience or Base Android 10/11 after)
- Decent enough battery (Only really needs to last me 16 hours, though I would love fast charging)
- Preferably those little addons like 5G, NFC and 802.11ac/ax but none of them are required.

I know I am asking a lot, and I am willing to give wiggle room for a lot of these, I'm just having difficulty looking for a phone like this.
Thanks for reading, and thank you if you can provide me with an idea of a good phone!

Hi there. Have you looked at the TCL 10 Pro? It is a new phone. There is also the the TCL 10 which is even cheaper. The specs are great for a budget/ mid-range phone and you can get it from Amazon.

Search for the phones on YouTube as there are loads of reviews. TCL is the company that has made the modern Blackberry, Alcatel and Nokia phones. Now they are making phones under their own brand. I think you would be impressed.

@Kirstein Gourlay I've looked into the TCL 10, but I can't seem to find either the base model or the pro model on Amazon AU, and I don't really want to buy it from Amazon US due to the currency conversion cost. (EDIT: Can't even find them on Amazon US)

You could probably find a LG G8 for 400 new. It's about a year old and fulfills most of your requirements. Had a notch though so if that's a deal breaker then maybe consider something along the lines of the ZTE Axon 10 pro or the oneplus 7t or maybe the honor 20 which is a bit cheaper (also a bit smaller then the other 2) . They are all more comparable in size to the iPhone 6 plus, but these days its getting tougher then ever to find smaller phones

@Casualballer Looked through them, most of them translated into AUD are around 700-1,000 AUD which is a deal-breaker for me, but the Honor 20 is ~$500 AUD which is perfect, I'll look more into the Honor 20, thanks!

@B. Diddy The Xiaomi Mi 9T looks like an amazing option! I'll look into other phones, and I'm still accepting more phone idea's, but I definitely think this is what I'll be going with if I am not given a better option. I still have 1 month until my carrier lets me get a new phone, but thanks for the suggestion!

Didn't think about the Australian dollar conversion rate. Americans lol
One thing to note about Honor and xiaomi is the software is much less stock android like then most of what is seen in America. I've never messed around with them personally but that what I've heard. Also Xiaomi has ads apparently? Not completely sure but might be something to look into.

Hmm OK. Found it on UK Amazon and US Amazon. But I agree I can't find it on the Australian Amazon. Sorry Top is UK and bottom is USA Screenshot_20200616-112628_Amazon%20Shopping.jpegScreenshot_20200616-112755_Amazon%20Shopping.jpeg

@Morty2264 I'm around 99% sure I'm going to go with the Xiaomi Mi 9T. (Side note: Does anyone else agree that those android emoji's look really creepy?)
