Any T-Mobile-ers going to get yours today?

I am running out at lunch today to pick up mine! The more I see about this phone the more I'm looking forward to it!

I was thinking about buying it from T-Mobile but I want the dual Sim model. I also like participating in the beta program, I could do that with the T-Mobile 6T.

I'm going to go look at it and see if the size is too big or not. If it's not then I'll probably order it from OnePlus directly since TMobile isn't really doing anything special that I can see incentive wise.

Is it possible to just walk in a T-Mobile store and buy one out right to use on Verizon? is there some kind of carrier unlocking code to do so or do I just slip my Verizon Sim card in and go on my way?

If you buy from T-Mobile you have to have it on their service for 40 days before they will unlock it. With that being said, I bought my 6t from T-Mobile l was able to get it unlocked after two weeks because they said I was a valued customer.

Like the other poster said it needs to be on there network 40 days but you can get it done a little earlier sometimes. If you're going to use it on Verizon your better off ordering it direct from OnePlus. You'll get quicker updates and it's unlocked already.

Grey only?

I went to a local (north San Diego) store yesterday to see how many blue phones they had available for the launch today. The sales person checked and said they weren't getting any blue in for launch day and that none of the stores (maybe he was referring to local stores) were getting blue for launch. I went to three other stores. Two of them said they didn't know as they didn't get their shipments in yet. The fourth store (yesterday evening) sent a sales guy to the back to look in the safe. He came back and said they had grey only and I could order blue from them.

If I am going to have to order the phone, I might as well order it direct from Oneplus. I am curious if the grey only is just a local thing. Stores should open up for east coast soon.

Edit: Just ordered from Oneplus. No tax (California). That $60 saved on tax paid for the extra 4GB of RAM.

I want to but idk if I actually will right now. I may later down the road.

Just bought mine from T-Mobile a couple of hours ago in blue 8GB ram 256gb storage. The phone is amazing and in my opinion a better value than the Galaxy S10. for those of you that have bought it on T-Mobile can you confirm if it came with a pre-installed screen protector? A lot of reviewers have said that it comes with one but the one that I bought does not.

I think I'm going to stop and check it out at T-Mobile on my way home from work. I have the 6T from T-Mo on 24mo, and not sure how the upgrade might work with trade-in and all that. I got the deal that ended up being half off with trade in, so they likely won't let me but I'll check. At the very least, I can check out the phone.

My 6T is still rocking along perfect, so i don't NEED to upgrade, but the WANT is strong. :)

If you are on Jump (Not Jump on Demand) you are eligible for an upgrade once your EIP balance is at 50%. They would most likely want the remainder of the 50% paid along with the Jump payment and taxes.

Thanks for the info. I honestly don't think I'm even on Jump because. May be old info, but I think there's a monthly fee for Jump so I declined. might be wrong about that though.

Yep I'm on Jump which is why I'm more willing to take a chance with them this go around.

There are conversion mods available to instantly convert the 6T without having it unlocked.

Thanks! Good to know! I just wish it was sold at Best Buy so I could use my rewards points...

Traded my 6t and a little cash (to get to jump status). My only disappointment was the only had the gray, no blue. This phone so far, is a beast
