Again. What your getting with the pixel vs lg is ongoing optimization and updates, security patches ect.. To me, these are more important than features. It's sort of the iPhone of Android that I've always wanted. Hardware and software to work in sweet harmony

I agree with you. But the price is not acceptable, in my humble opinion. That also goes for the iPhone price.

There are many cheaper options to fit everyone's budget. That's the beauty of Android!

I'm really digging the pixel XL, but the pricing surprised me. It's almost at an iPhone level, and now there's a void in the nexus market. This is a high-end flagship for sure, but what about lower price ranges?

There are plenty of other options for midrange smart phones.

I would go for the HTC 10 for 550 bucks. I have the M8 and its the best smartphone I ever had. And it usually has fast updates.
