Guess you'll be hanging on to that m8 a while longer! If it has the right price, metal chassis and stereo speakers I will consider replacing my trusty Htc One M8![]()
Why do you say that?Guess you'll be hanging on to that m8 a while longer!
Rumors point to high price and bottom firing speaker(s)Why do you say that?
Cheers
That's a pity. := I truly love my M8. Have to replace the battery, though, it's getting hard to live through the day after 2 years of heavy use of the battery.Rumors point to high price and bottom firing speaker(s)
It's weird you'd say that considering HTC has a better reputation for quality than Huawei does.I'd be all over it from day one if it wasn't being built by HTC. I have a concerns about HTC build quality. I wish Google had stayed with Huawei. They built a quality phone with the Nexus 6/6P.
I'll wait for the Pixel reviews before buying.
My 6P's quality was fine, but my HTC M7, M8, and 10 are much more polished in the quality. I'm just partial to smooth metal tho. So don't get your complaint. I know some prefer plastic tho.I'd be all over it from day one if it wasn't being built by HTC. I have a concerns about HTC build quality. I wish Google had stayed with Huawei. All down to price.
Will be disappointed if the Pixel starts at $650 (or £ alternative here in the UK - probably be £550ish)
Let's wait and see.
If that's the case, I won't be getting it.I was going to guess a starting price of US$699 for the Pixel... $799 for the Pixel XL.
I was getting all excited till I heard about pricing. For me to have to spend that kind of moola, this phone would have to blow the galaxy S7 EDGE out of the water.
I actually like / prefer the smaller form factor, which is why I purchased the Nexus 5x instead of the 6p. However, I've had some issues with my 5x (lag, reboot loop of death requiring a phone RMA & replacement, etc). All the while, a couple friends had no issues with their 6p's and the little time I used one was enjoyable.
So, this time around... I'm going after the big one, the XL. I've tried big phones before (the Nexus 6) and regretted it... We'll see how I can manage with the XL this time around.
I am seriously looking at the Pixel but my brain wants to keep thinking of the Iphone 7 for some reason. Currently have a LG G3 rooted and rom'd and love it but the battery life is fading more and more each day and that's swapping between 2 batteries. I only need it for calls, texting and light emailing and the Iphone would serve that purpose well. the Pixel will be interesting to see how it compares.
I also don't really like big phones since they are not ergonomic to hold with one hand. I have to decide between the HTC 10, the HTC 10 mini (if rumors are true) and the Pixel (the smaller version). Currently holding the best smartphone I ever had until now, the HTC one m8.I had the 7 and returned it before it was too late because I heard about the 5" Pixel. I'll make the final decision once I try the pixel out. If the pixel is as fast and smooth, I'll get it.
The iphone is simply boring. But, is fast as lighting
The S7 Edge is easily one of the best phones on the market, if not the best. That's not hard to do..
