iPhone speed is mostly exaggerated. Most Android phones are just as fast, if not faster, when it comes to most apps. The exceptions are apps and games that use the GPU - the iPhones have better GPUs.

I hope that's not the case. $800 is really pushing it, regardless of what the phone can do.

Lol I just saw a video where the $399 Honor 8 destroys it in speed. Just because a phone is marketed well doesn't make it the best out there brotha. Samsung has yet come out with a properly optimized phone. I guess some like this as long as it's said to have the best gimmicks

There is more to a phone than raw speed. Samsung phones are the best overall packages of any smart phone. Besides, Samsungs are plenty fast enough.
Just cause you say so does not make it fact. "Plenty fast enough" Hmm. I disagree whole heartedly. Imo, if a phone doesn't run smoothly and fast (consistently) it's done wrong. Some people demand better and that's why they stay away from Samsung.

am planing on getting this phone has long has the price is right and if it works on AT&T then you bet and if i do get this phone am not planing on buying a phone for a vary long long long time
It is the opinion of the majority of Android users that Samsung makes the best Android smartphones. That is a fact. Reviews show that Samsung has the highest rated smartphones. Sales show they're number one too. They're fast phones with the best cameras, best displays, best features, and top of the line hardware and build quality. They're basically bad at nothing, which pretty much no other hardware manufacturer can say.
Most people just follow what they're told. (Iphone/Samsung is best).Because Samsung has sold well does not make it "best" lol. I'm not into having a pretty screen, Camara and build quality if the software is slower and ram management is off. I personally would never buy another Samsung and it sounds like many agree. We must just be wrong? Come on now! Glad you're a fan but the word "best" is relative to your perception or based on experience with devices that fits you best. There's no clear winner. What I value most is not in any Samsung phone.

Okay so s t only difference between the Pixel and Pixel XL, the screen resolution, battery size, and screen size? I have had enough big phones and usually up to the larger version for more benefits, like ois etc....But if these arhe only diff's I will be geng the Pixel. Also will we finally be getting good cases like the apple leather case? Cases have always seemed to be the downfall of getting a Nexus....

In other words, opinions are not facts. It's your preference that Samsuck phones are bad at nothing, but it's a measurable fact that TouchWiz is laggy garbage that runs duplicate versions of everything. The Samsuck version as well as the Google version.
One only needs to go back to the GPE of the S4 and compare it to a Samsuck S4 with all of its garbage bloat on it.
It's night and day. Samsung sucks, the Galaxy line of phones are trash and its only brilliant marketing keeping them in the game.
When you talk to iPhone converts they will supply two things, I had a Droid or I had a Galaxy, and they sucked. That's why they switched.
The Droid was kneecapped by Verizon, and a ton of people had one of Samsuck's two hundred different mid range or low range fail devices.
The uninformed masses think that Samsuck is Android and it has hurt the perception.
and the majority of the human race seem to refer to smartphones as iPhones.
if you say "no, this is a Samsung Android smartphone" to them, they'll either look
bewildered or go " oh.. sorry..."(as if they pity you for not being able to afford the
iPhone, even if your Samsung phone cost $800(equal or more than iPhones)
or the snobby Neiman Marcus employee who yanked my Note5 away from the
credit car reader and said "only iPhones can pay wirelessly!" (what the heck?)
or worse... flight attendants on my recently flights who assumed ALL Samsugn phones
are the Note 7 that will all spontaneously combust and bring down the 777.

I agree with most of what you said but it would hold more weight if you call them by their real name of Samsung. Just sayin'...
Now onto my real word example.. My son has always liked Samsung and why I don't know.. He went through 2 different replacements on his S4, 2 replacements on his S5 and just had his S6 replaced for the 4th time a few weeks ago..
I finally convinced him to try something else so he went with the Axon 7... Now 2 weeks into the Axon 7 experiment and he told me he will never buy another Samsung device again.. Half the price, not bogged down with bloat and junk and it doesn't have all the gimmicks and duplicate Google features to further bog the device down...
He is just one person who has moved on but more will follow unless Samsung starts doing things differently.. Remove the bloat and junk, kill the duplicate features and for god sake, do a better job of optimizing TW..
Will Samsung continue to be profitable in the future? Sure but other companies have fallen after being on top for lessor reasons..
My ,02 and I expect to be flamed by Samsung lovers...
Good points raq. I think that if people simply had the opportunity to try out the likes of the Axon 7 and Oneplus 3, they'd be shocked at the value and function. Unfortunately, most don't want/have $400 to shell out on a new phone or pay attention to know they even exist, so they go on the carriers plan and get caught up with the marketing of Samsung and iphone. I mean, if all you hear is that these are the "ones to have" you think you have the best. I'm waiting to purchase the pixel but I'll tell you, I'm very tempted by the Honor 8 with all the reviews I've seen and it's still a smaller device at $399!
All of the reviewers I have seen also say that Samsung phones are the best. Trading in the best viewing experience, best camera experience, and largest featureset because it is a blink of the eye slower makes no sense.

This is a $399 phone. You may argue seconds, but shouldn't the "best" smartphone known to man take it to any phone? Especially one half its price? Lol Samsung is alot of fluff that sounds great on paper
. In reality it's just a pig with makeup.

My only reservation with the Pixel line is Google Assistant. Reading the Allo reviews suggests that Google Assistant is a more aggressive approach to collecting personal info. I'm not really interested in that or going through a process to opt out of data collection.
