Any video player that can play in the background?

I have MX Player but once I lock my device the video pauses. I have a few audio books which are in like a video format that I'd like to be able to listen to while doing cardio.

Is there a setting in MX Player that can enable background playback or any other suggested app? preferably with no ads

Nevermind, I found the setting. It's under Settings > scroll down a bit till you see Background Play and enable the checkbox.
