It happened to me with the Note 2, and it's the same with my current Note Edge. When I'm in a call and am using the keypad (e.g. when dialing from the car or with the phone on my desk), the screen dims after a few seconds, and then turns off completely.
- My display timeout is 10 minutes, but this doesn't seem to apply to the dialer timeout
- I can't find any setting which would keep the screen on or allow me to specify the dialer timeout
- The proximity sensor is clean and works as it should
- I do not have a screen protector
Any other ideas?
